Butterfly Garden

Banteay Srey Butterfly Center is a great place to stop on your way to or from Banteay Srey temple. See butterflies at each stage of the life cycle in their netted enclosure.

Sunset Boat Ride

Take a small, private boat out to Prasat Chrung Temple to watch the amazing sunset.  The lesser-known temple is set on top of a hill in the Angkor complex, so it offers excellent views and it is an ideal spot to watch the sun go down.

Elephant Rides

Instead of walking around Angkor Thom, why not let an elephant take you around? During the day you can take a ride around the complex, or in the evening let the elephants take you up Phnom Bakheng Hill to watch the sunset.

Dinner and Dance Show

Watch a traditional Apsara dance at Angkor Village Hotel while enjoying a classic Khmer meal. This show is very popular, so reservations are highly recommended. There is also a non-profit children’s house, Santepheap, which puts on a show every Sunday. This show is free, but donations are appreciated.
